They are also concerned about the financial aspects

With that new drivers license safely tucked away in your wallet, your dreams of driving the family car seem close to fulfilment, but when your parents seem less than enthralled at the prospect, it can be crushing. It can be delightful indeed to have your own drivers license, however, driving is not a right just what others try to imply; it is, rather, a privilege that needs to be approved by your parents and the authorities depending on what they have observed from you and most likely, your parents may fear the possibility that you might be another highway fatality statistic. They are also concerned about the financial aspects; for example, car insurance for young are added by car insurance companies and they also raise the premiums when a teenager is added to the list of the drivers that the family has. Additional driver also means added repairs to the car; and they are also concerned about your safety and health.   The history of the adolescent in other matters is the best indicator of his driving responsibility, and when his parents have observed that he can be trusted in following rules and is reliable, then it is possible that he can be trusted in his driving; so before asking for permission to drive, ask yourself first if you have made a good record before your parents. Your parents will give you more freedom if they have observed that you are safety conscious even in small matters.
