The average employee earning a weekly or daily wage may not so readily view himself as a financial manager that is why when it comes to financial management, or management of assets, we may almost automatically think about the wealthy. We are totally wrong if we believe this way because the one who has limited resources is the one who needs more financial management and must be carefully managing his affairs. After all, paying for mismanagement can be very costly and only the rich can afford it.   We often hear people say that they do not know where their money went when they already ran out of budget or if they fail to stick to a reasonable budget. A person should discipline himself in living within his means to keep himself out of trouble if he has a sound family budget. One can be in great chaos if he spends more than his income. If you have a credit card, you should be careful in using it and do not buy the ones that you want but instead use it with the things that you need. An intelligent adjustment in the lifestyle of a person may be needed for one to be a good manager of finances. Saving for a rainy day still makes good sense today.
