There are countless ways we can help the environment

At present, global warming is one of the hottest issue concerning our environment . At first people, find it hard to believe that such phenomenon exists, until Al Gore made a documentary about this. The Inconvenient truth was something that world leaders find hard to believe, but the documentary was supported by studies done by experts. As a Biology major, we took Ecology which discussed about global warming, that is why, I am already aware about this phenomenon even before watching The Inconvenient Truth. So what should we do to help save Mother Earth from further damage before it becomes too late? There are many ways on how to help our planet, with just our own simple ways. In my opinion, the most effective way to help our planet is to let other people know about the situation of our planet. The most effective way to make other people care about the environment is through information dissemination. Aside from information dissemination, simple things such as using envirosax when shopping can be a very big help. Imagine if people stop using plastic bags and use envirosax instead, we will not have problems dealing with plastics that take hundred years to decompose. Also, one can help the environment by conserving energy; this can be done for example by walking to the grocery instead of driving or riding a car. Another thing is planting a tree and growing your own garden. Planting plants is beneficial because it can help produce more oxygen which we inhale and at the same time inhale green house gases. There are countless ways we can help the environment, either in a small way or in a big way, and we have to start right now.
