You must have a satellite direct services for you to have a free cable TV because this service will give you TV signals all over the world. Most of the cable service providers nowadays do not use wires to send signal, instead, the new technology uses satellite feed. Cable signal can produce better picture quality because this type of TV signal is not prone to disruptions or noise. The signal sent from a cable is digital that is why if ever you have HD TV, you should avail a cable service so that you will have better picture quality. Analog TV signal is passed through air and can only reach a limited distance unlike cable television that can reach anywhere as long as there are cables or wires. This form of signal can also be stolen by hacking through the wires of the cable signal making this form of signal not secured. Cheap cable service providers is good but they only offer fewer channels or some of the channels they are offering are in standard definition format. If ever you want to share your cable signal to another TV, in most cases, these cable service providers will ask for an additional fee. If you have the skill to connect and share you cable signal in your home, you can do that as long as you do not inform your cable provider. You can still share your cable TV signal to your neighbor or someone near you but these cable providers are a bit expensive. You should ask first your cable providers if what channels are they are giving to you so that you will not pay for the channels you do not want to see.
