I am really excited for this years thanksgiving because my family gets to be together during this special occasion, thanksgiving is the time of the year where we usually have our mini family reunion. When I see the faces of my family members, I can tell that they are happy to be back home, on a vacation away from work and school. Relatives from all over the country, come home to gather as one big happy family. During dinner time, our grandmothers turkey is the favourite of all, as well as her other dishes. Aside from the Thanksgiving day itself, I also look forward to black friday 2010, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving which officially starts the Christmas shopping season in the United States, though it is not an official holiday, but it is a holiday for those people who love to shop.   It is actually the day when most of the people go out and shop, making it the busiest day for retailers and shoppers. I, just like others, look forward to this big shopping day since I have been saving my money for this special day. Majority of Americans do their Christmas shopping on this day because retailers sell their goods at a much cheaper price. Because of the discounted prices, I also start looking for Christmas gifts on this day, just like what majority of the Americans do. I want to avoid all the people that shop later part of the day, that is why during Black Fridays, I wake up at around five in the morning. But the only thing I hate about Black Friday is that it is so chaotic, there was even a time when a pregnant woman died because of stampede.
