The Trembling Fairy

For my Mother’s Day special gift for my grandmother, I went to a mall to look for something unique and special and I wanted it to be very special to her as I like to show how much I love and care for her a lot. As I went to the jewelry section to look for something very extraordinary and diverse from the other jewelries, I have seen elegant beautiful necklaces, stunning diamond earrings, expensive jewelry sets, but on the corner of the display glass lies the pearl necklace that caught my eyes. It was a faux pearl teardrop necklace and earring set, it was on sale and it was within my budget too. I am sure grandma would love this and she can wear it casually at her afternoon tea party, the pearl necklace set was not the antique vintage style with studded gemstones embedded on it, but with its simplicity, it still denotes the classic elegance beauty and style. After purchasing the pearl necklace set, I passed by the gift shop and have it wrapped in a special jewelry box, and I also dropped by the flower shop to buy her favorite roses. Since I was hungry I went to a restaurant and ordered chicken paella with cold ice tea, while waiting for my order, I saw my friend, Tess, so we had lunch together and talked about the shopping we had made for the day. I showed Tess the pearl necklace set, though it was not as expensive as the Japanese Akoya pearl necklaces and the Tahitian pearls, she knew that my grandmother would surely love it. After explaining and sharing to me the pearl care tips she has acquired from her mother she also reminded me that the leaving the pearl in box too long would dehydrate the pearl.
