Just be heedful the hills are not so steep that you stand the opportunity of a ball rolling far away, Bocce is played with eight large balls and one small ball called a Pallino, two, four or eight players can play, separate the balls equally among the players, ideally four or eight players is best, a traditional Bocce ball set ordinarily has four balls of one color and four of a different color, the Pallino is yet a third color, you want these colors to tell your teams apart, modern sets may have all different colored balls, the balls may also have a different design on them, to farther help in marking them, after a round is complete and all players have hurled their Bocce balls, the team, or player, with Bocce balls closest to the Pallino are granted one point per ball, a round is called a frame.
